Montfort Feast

Our patron saint Louis-Marie Grignion de Montfort‘s feast day was celebrated on January 2020. Fr. Jobi Sebastin the novice master of Holy Cross offered Holy Mass in the multipurpose hall.

Both ICSE and Montfort Anglo Indian school gathered for the joyful celebration Fr. Jobi blessed the children and encouraged the children to be a followers of St. Montfort. The mass was specially offered for the students of class 10, 11 and 12 for the success in the board examinations.

In order to make the ceremony interesting Fr. Jobi brought (showed) a model of a tree and explained five H’s to be followed in life to make the world a better place to live in. Fr. Jobi invited the children to follow 5H’s in life.

1. Humble like the root.

2. To do hard work as the trunk withstands hot and dry sun , stormy wind and cyclone.

3. To be helpful like the branches.

4. To be honest and show the responsibilities like the leaves on the tree.

5. Finally, happiness which represents Fruits. Fruits brings up happiness in the heart of the children and makes the nation shine.

Father appreciated all the students for maintaining discipline throughout the celebration. He concluded by saying that they can be the torch bearer like St. Montfort to bring in light in lives of others.
